This project was a lot of fun. We cut the plates by water jet, and the rest was done with the lathe and welder. The water is out of a tap and mixed with approximately 1/4 cup baking soda. The baking soda is used as a catalyst and allows the electricity to pass through the water separating it into hydrogen and oxygen. The power source used is a 12v motorcycle battery. […]
