This project was a lot of fun. We cut the plates by water jet, and the rest was done with the lathe and welder. The water is out of a tap and mixed with approximately 1/4 cup baking soda. Replaced the engine in this GIO 250cc buggy with a 1988 Yamaha FJ 1200cc. Went from 15hp to 140hp. What a difference! Also replaced the wheels. Went from 14″ to 27″. Had to reposition the fenders a bit. Did some other minor changes as well. Click HERE for a VIDEO!
